Praetor is seeking an All Source Analyst focused on WMD CBRNE (Chemical , Biological, Radiological, Nuclear Effect) to support intelligence assessments, product development, and threat capability analysis of nuclear and radiological agents.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a unique position where you will assist to solve gaps and unknowns using innovative and possibly experimental theories and technology to detect, monitor, and assess nuclear and radiological WMD threats. The successful candidate will:
– Perform WMD analysis to develop creative and leading edge collection concepts and strategy
– Interface with academia, DoD, national labs, and IC to facilitate WMD issues
– Produce technical reports and briefings, project deliverables, and finished products
– Conduct long-term deep dive assessments
– Develop procedures and tradecraft
– Write reports detailing methods, results, and impacts to assigned WMD issues
– Determine patterns of life on associated activities, and build link diagrams or other charts to map key factors
– Assess transportation and security capabilities
– Evaluate WMD facilities and storage
– Support the team with expertise in nuclear and radiological agents and precursors, production processes, and emerging threats
– Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email, and face to face
– Ability to travel, some may be required
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree
– Background in Counter-WMD applications, and/or Intelligence research, collection, and analysis
– Background in nuclear/radiological weapons agents, processes, weapon systems, and their detection
– 5-7 years experience in intelligence analysis within DOD or IC; DOE experience is also good
– Current US Passport or obtain one within 30 days of approval
– TS/SCI (active) or DOE Q security clearance, CI POLY
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering, physics, chemical engineering, biology, or other related physical science
– Experience with high energy materials and their exploitation
– Experience in nuclear and radiological sensors
– Familiarity with collaborative IC tools
